THE STORY

What awaits your team

Travel & Geography is the trivia format that hits hardest with distributed teams. Half the team is from somewhere weird, and round three of this game is when you find out.

Round one is the classic geography quiz — capitals, countries by silhouette, rivers and mountain ranges. Round two flashes a single landscape or skyline photo and asks you to name the city or country (or get half-points just for the continent). Round three is travel-themed audio — national anthems, songs about cities, the soundtracks that defined a place.

Especially fun for teams scattered across multiple countries. The Berlin office knows Berlin questions cold; the Tokyo office knows Tokyo questions cold; the leaderboard depends on whose team has the broadest geography.

GAME STAGES

Inside the experience — 3 stages

Border Drift

Stage 1

Border Drift

Themed round: capitals, weird border facts (which country has the most neighbors?), exclaves, time zones, longest-river arguments. The round where someone in the chat says "wait, that's actually a country?".

Wide Angle

Stage 2

Wide Angle

Photo round: a skyline, a mountain, a market street — name the city or country. Half points for getting just the continent right. The round where the colleague who took six months off to backpack finally gets to flex.

Anthem Archive

Stage 3

Anthem Archive

Audio round: national anthem snippets, songs named after cities (Empire State of Mind, Sweet Home Alabama, La Vie en Rose), travel-soundtracked instrumentals.
