This Privacy Policy describes how HeySparko ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects the personal information you provide when you visit heysparko.com or interact with our services.

1. Who we are

2. Information we collect

We collect personal information that you provide directly when you:

• Submit a lead form (Talk to us, booking calculator, custom-build request, demo request)
• Subscribe to product updates
• Communicate with us by email

The information typically includes: name, work email address, company name, team size estimate, event timing, and any context you choose to share in a message field.

We do not ask for or store financial information, government IDs, or any sensitive personal data category as defined by GDPR Article 9 or California Civil Code § 1798.140.

3. How we use your information

We use the information you provide solely to:

• Respond to your inquiry and schedule a discovery call or booking
• Send you a follow-up if you don't reply (no more than two follow-ups; you can opt out at any time)
• Improve our service based on aggregate signals from form submissions

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with advertisers, data brokers, or any third party for marketing purposes.

4. Third-party services

We rely on the following processors. Each handles data on our behalf under their own privacy terms:

• Resend (transactional email delivery): handles delivery of automated lead notifications. Resend Privacy
• Cloudflare (CDN + Web Analytics): aggregates anonymous, cookieless pageview counts. No individual visitor profile is built. Cloudflare Privacy
• DigitalOcean (hosting): serves our website from the United States. Standard server logs (IP, user-agent) are retained for 30 days for security and operational purposes. DigitalOcean Privacy
• Sentry (error tracking, EU region): captures JavaScript errors with personally identifiable information automatically scrubbed at source. Sentry Privacy
• Google Search Console: we receive aggregate query and click metrics for our own pages; no individual visitor data is shared with us.

5. Cookies

We use a single functional cookie, NEXT_LOCALE, to remember your preferred language across visits. No tracking, advertising, or third-party cookies are set by HeySparko. Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless by design.

6. Data retention

• Lead form submissions: retained for 24 months from your last interaction
• Server logs (DigitalOcean): 30 days
• Error reports (Sentry): 30 days, with PII scrubbed at capture
• Analytics (Cloudflare): aggregate-only, no personal data

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law (including GDPR for EEA residents and CCPA for California residents), you may:

• Request access to the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction or deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent for follow-up emails
• Receive your data in a portable format
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (GDPR Art. 77)

8. International data transfers

Our hosting is in the United States. By submitting personal information through our forms, you acknowledge that data may be processed in jurisdictions outside your country of residence. We rely on standard contractual clauses with our US-based processors where required.

9. Children's privacy

HeySparko's services are intended for use by businesses and their employees. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced via a notice on this page; the "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision.
